Good Morning New Life:
Blessings to you all! We are happy to report that our first in-church gathering last Sunday went extremely smoothly, and we appreciate the help and cooperation of everyone involved!
If you signed up to be an usher or Connecting Team member, you are needed to assist with seating and releasing our attendees. Alicia Thomas is in the process of creating a schedule and contacting you with this information. Thank you for your time and commitment to serving the Lord in this way
We did try broadcasting our service by Facebook live last Sunday, but it was not very effective due to the poor sound quality. We will be implementing live-streaming of our Sunday services, and we need to purchase the necessary equipment, so those who are unable to be with us physically can still be with us real time.
We are compiling the list of maintenance projects that need to be attended to, to be posted on our Facebook page. Individuals or individual families will be able to take on a particular task, and we will give instructions to be let into the church at the time each person or group arranges. All necessary materials will be provided.
Please join us for our mid-week devotional on Facebook live, Wednesday’s Word each week at 7 p.m., and be a part of our Sunday School lessons on our Facebook page each weekend. Our women’s bible study group is available on Zoom, Half-Hour to Power, Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Contact Jamie with your email address to be connected in that way!
Please continue to support the church with your tithes and offerings. Our Faithlife.com link on our website is a very easy, secure option. You may also place your tithe and offering checks in the offering plate in the back of the sanctuary on Sunday or send them in the mail to the church. The church still has all of our regular expenses plus necessary maintenance and technology expenses that now need to be met. We need your ongoing support to meet these challenges.
As if COVID-19 wasn’t bad enough, we are now experiencing another deeply concerning situation in our country, which is infecting us in ways that are harder to diagnose and treat. We would appreciate your partnership in prayer during these turbulent times; as we pray for each and every one of your families. Please partner in prayer as we pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters who are under oppression, who are in law enforcement, and who are in leadership. We must pray for our whole church, our entire community and our nation. We all need Jesus desperately.
James 1:19-20. “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” Before we speak to anyone listen. Before we act or react, we must ask God this all-important question, “How can I please and honor You in this?”
As always, we love you, and there ain’t a thing you or anything or anyone else can do about it.

Our Mission Statement:
Transforming Lives Together – Through Relationship With Christ
Our Latest Sermon:
July 5, 2020 – Healthy Heart Habits – Confession/Repentance
by Pastor Dave Martelle
One Main Idea of the Sermon: Telling God you are sorry doesn’t resolve your guilt because God was not the only offended party.- Andy Stanley
Goal for Life Application: Confession without change gains nothing. True repentance for the benefit of those you offended heals the guilty heart and sets the stage for reconciliation.
